Ingredients

  • One cup water
  • One inch fresh ginger root
  • Half lemon
  • One tablespoon of honey

How to prepare

  • Take the ginger root and wash it thoroughly.
  • Peel the skin and cut it into very small pieces or grate it. You can also crush it a bit with the help of a motor and pestle.
  • Now take a cup of water in a container and place it on the stove.
  • Add ginger to it and let the water boil for 4-5 minutes.
  • Remove the container from the stove and let the water cool for some time.
  • Once the water turns Luke warm, squeeze 2-3 drops of lemon to it.
  • Then add a teaspoon of honey, mix it well and consume it in empty stomach.

This ginger tea is both tasty and healthy and has almost no side effects. Only if you have very server problems of acidity and symptoms like stomach burning or heart burning you may consider your doctor before taking this ginger water.
